Here’s to life

Questa e’ una canzone bellissima, e’ qualche giorno che suona nel mio stereo, l’avevo ascoltata qualche tempo fa in un disco di Shirley Horne, ma non mi aveva colpito particolarmente, probabilmente colpa di un arrangiamento pieno di archi e qualche leziosita’ di troppo. Nella voce che trovo calda ed accogliente e sorprendente di Bollani e nel suo tocco inconfondibile, acquista un colore incredibile, e quel testo, in contrasto stridente con le armonie semidiminuite che chiudono contro le aperture del testo. E quel tocco di serenita’ che pure c’e’ nelle pieghe della musica, ed un pizzico di rassegnazione, e quel May all your storms be weathered, e la musicalita’ completa del testo le parole che si incastrano magicamente con l’armonia e questa di Bollani e’ davvero un’interpretazione intensa e piacevolmente sorprendente, nella semplicita’, leggerezza e calore della sua voce da non cantante.
