When i fall in love

"In a restless world like this one love is ended before it's Begun"

And I 'always liked this ballad, its harmonic progressions, its melody, its overwhelming sweetness, its text and in particular this phrase that I use as incipit, plays divinely, in a restless world, and it makes you repeat it and make music for your instrument, you wish the piano was able to say those words and sounds.

I had never played live, 'cause you need one particular mood, a moment of suspension, something that takes you to the hidden corners of this song. The other night in a strange situation, we decided to play with Alexei in duo piano and trumpet, without ever having sailed along, the rest of us were traveling together from the beginning of the concert and there, and 'seemed natural to take a moment of suspension for noi.La radiance 'Alessio struck me, was in striking contrast with my closing and my introspection of this period. While we played, there was nothing but the notes and lyrics of this song that I rang in his head, even those who resent incredible background noise in the recording were absent, we have carved out a space in this "restless world" a space of outside of that space and our time, a moment of suspension given by the magical charm of this ballad.

Arithmetic

I was not good at arithmetic.
At most I counted to ten.
Living with debt for decades,
I wandered into the church or in the narthex
watching the saints who protected me

Now easily surpass the hundred
Check often beyond 'the two hundred
And sometimes I come where no one dares,
and will 'overflow zero, frost, wind
and lots of other things.

Maybe that 'why I devoutly
I watch at night and beg the moon.
Among all the other tests diriment
light, for me there is none 'no
which is still standing, but her.

Take It With Me (Tom Waits)

Phone's off the hook
No One Knows Where We Are
It's a long time since I
Drank champagne
The ocean is blue
As blue as your eyes
I'm gonna take it with me
When I go

Old long since gone
Now Way Back When
We lived in Coney Island
Is not no good thing
Ever Dies
I'm gonna take it with me
When I go

Far far away a train
Whistle Blows
Wherever you're goin
Wherever you've been
Waving good bye at the end
Of the day
You're up and you're over
And you're far away

Always for you, and
Forever Yours
It felt just like the old days
We fell asleep on Beaula's porch
I'm gonna take it with me
When I go

All broken down by
The side of the road
I was never more alive or
Halo
I've worn the faces off
All the cards
I'm gonna take it with me
When I go

Children are playing
At the end of the day
Strangers are singing
On our lawn
It's got to be blackberries
Than flesh and bone
All that you're loved
Is all you own

In a land there's a town
That's in town and there
A house
And In That House
There's a woman
And in That Woman
There's a hart I love
I'm gonna take it
With me when I go
I'm gonna take it
With me when I go

Music for a while

Drink in [the] Music with delight,
And list'ning and silent, and silent and list'ning,
And list'ning and silent obey.

Music, for a while, Shall all your cares beguile Shall, all - all, all - Shall all your cares beguile.

The effect and 'this, stop time, to calm the moment and breathe in the silence and shattered the harmony of the spheres. The order of things in the bottom of this composition, and what 'seems simply too beautiful to the eye, the complexity' and 'hidden deep in the folds of the composition. Contemporary of Newton Purcell said: "The truth 'is always found in simplicity, never in confusion." And I would give you the charm of this composition and the real beauty in the simplicity and authentic hidden' disarming of this composition by Purcell.

He long ere this HAD tuned the jarring spheres, and left no hell below. (In memory of Dryden Purcell)
