We are kindred spirits, in the life and music. John Mirabassi is part of that circle of musicians that are incredibly similar to me, who can immediately get in depth 'and communicate with my sensitivity' music. I remember my first encounter with his music, if you remember the shop in Milan I did catch her solo piano Next, still in Milan this time Feltrinelli, another cross purchase plan only without fear, because the musicality 'and taste Mirabassi are indisputable. If only the other plan was outlined by the travel path in the songs of struggle and resistance, this time the road crosses the song form in particular of French song, from Brel to Nougaro with small gift that goes out of the French song dedicated Fabrizio De Andre 'with the song of Marinella. Small portraits, in the form of song, full of wonderful memories and evocative, powerful lyricism, never assume that manages to fill the atmosphere, sweetness, tenderness of the songs performed by Mirabassi.
A journey that can really make the strings vibrate more 'deep with the simplicity' disarming of these portraits, with a particular love for the feeling "even eight" that characterizes the playing of Mirabassi. Once again a record of great depth and maturity 'that surely will fill' many hours of my listening and my thoughts.

@ Ale, great pianist without a doubt, the fact that he went to france does not surprise me more 'that much, you know that in Italy the music and' dealt with in a really bad, so many Italian musicians to live and express themselves gravitate to Paris.

@ Soul, for me de andre 'is a world quite unknown, but this reading Mirabassi excites me, will' pedal on that theme, the course of time, the sound of the piano ... :-)
